SINGER | ACTOR | DANCER
Kristen graduated CAP21 Musical Theater Conservatory Professional Program, in New York City. She chose the two year program-sixty hours a week of training and an academic load each summer-to intensely immerse herself in her craft. She continued her training at the Industry Studio with Jillian Carucci and Geoff Josselson.
Kristen was born and raised in New Jersey and according to her mom...she came out singing! She was very lucky that her school district had so many performing arts opportunitites, and her parents loved to take her to Broadway shows! After seeing Sutton Foster in Thoroughly Modern Millie at the age of 8, she told her parents that the stage was where she wanted to be. She then ventured out to perform in local community theatre productions.
At the age of 13, she realized that she wanted to do this more than anything and began her year long training in dance, voice, and acting in NYC. Kristen began taking master classes, and week long intensives, at Broadway Artists Alliance, and with Marc Tumminelli/Broadway Workshop where she was cast in leading roles.Voice training, for 6 years, was with Broadway/Oberlin trained Adrian McKeown and with Master Teacher, Amanda Flynn, at CAP21.
Art is a beautiful gift to the world. Sing because you simply just have to, dance like no one is watching, and believe that you have the power to make all your dreams come true!
Kristen was most recently seen in Aida at The John W. Engeman Theater as an Ensemble member and understudying the role of Amneris!
